 Life’s At Home Care is seeking a male PCA, CNA, or experienced caregiver to assist a gentle, elderly client living with dementia in Suffolk, VA (23435).

🕒 Schedule
Monday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Perfect for those seeking steady evening hours or extra work alongside a daytime job.

💵 Pay Rates

  • PCA: $15.00/hr

  • Nursing Assistant: $15.50/hr

  • CNA: $16.50/hr
    ✨ Earn an additional $0.50/hr once you complete paid training!

🛠️ Your Role
You’ll help create a safe, comfortable environment each evening by:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting

  • Giving medication reminders and light mobility assistance

  • Preparing simple meals or helping with feeding

  • Keeping the home tidy and organized

  • Offering dementia-friendly care with patience and empathy (we’ll train you!)

  • Helping with short errands or transportation as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Active PCA or CNA certification (required)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient

  • Clear communication skills and responsiveness

  • Dementia care experience a plus
